Air density follows the ISA barometric model with a temperature correction; UAV endurance scales with √(ρ/ρ₀) (hover power ∝ ρ^−1/2), Li-ion cold-capacity derating and a headwind penalty. EO/IR range is the Koschmieder visibility relation; surface-craft gating uses significant wave height on the Beaufort scale. Operability blends each constraint's margin into a 0–100 score, with any breached hard limit forcing a no-go.
